Denmark are playing *quite* well after the first fifteen minutes, but Wales have turned into headless chickens. Hacked clearances, no time on the ball and when they do get it they pass it straight back. Tellingly the best piece of defending in the last ten minutes was a Dane smashing a ball against Ramsey's feet when he knew nothing about it.

The problem with teams like Wales is they are so heavily reliant on Bale and Ramsey, as soon as they have an off night they’re screwed.

Gotta say, the half time analysis of the game was great, talking about the England game on Tuesday again.

It’s quite plausible that Denmark could have gone though their group with three wins.  Obviously the Finland game was just weird and the players were in shock but it was still something of a smash and grab and they probably think they should have beaten Belgium but for Kevin de Bruyne pulling a rabbit out of a hat but they’ve played well throughout and are probably full of confidence right now.  They probably fancy themselves to beat the winners of Netherlands - Czech Republic in the next round if they win tonight.

Definite foul in the build up to the second goal (and a great assist from Williams), but I'm not surprised is wasn't overturned as Man Utd's goal vs Liverpool last season had a foul in the build up (in Man Utd's half) and it was deemed that it was too far back to overturn (and it probably took about the same time as the Danish goal).

Denmark has been the better team by far though, Wales will be disappointed that the Danish tactical change after 15 minutes has completely thrown then and they have had no answer (so far...)
