2nd, my mistake. To be honest they’d have nailed on 2nd anyway had it not been for the Finland game.

Ah, yes. I thought for a moment you meant third goal, and that didn't make any sense.

I still had Denmark a comfortable enough second going into that final round of fixtures because of how the games had fallen. Even a 1-0 win would have done it, as it would have all come down to who did best against Belgium.

But they've outdone themselves and are really fired up.

Journalist being a bit of a prick, basically

I don't think that's fair, he was being asked a sporting question on a subject that Bale himself has spoken about in recent times - it's not like he was intruding on his personal life or anything.

The guy has just had his heart broken. Let him decide his own time to announce when he wants to retire, and don't use one of the toughest moments of his career to try and get yourself a headline. Prick behaviour.

Nonsense, it's a fair question and Bale handled it badly.

1. The journalist can ask what he wants because it's his job.

Gareth Bale is a multi millionaire from playing football. He has made untold more millions by selling his image and getting sponsorship.

Remember that time he skipped out of the GB Olympic team to get his ears pinned?

He is who he is and being asked a question about himself is totally fair.

2. He walked off.

So what. He can do what he wants. It's not right or wrong. He got annoyed at the question. Sure it's an annoying question, he was not in the best of moods.

Summary

Nobody did anything wrong or out of the ordinary.

Bale will get backlash and backing for this action.

The journalist will get praise and punishment for his question.

Overall. It doesn't matter.

Take care of yourself, and each other.

Absolute nonsense ad hominem.
