June (Ish) Painting Challenge: Vehicles!

Oracle

Thresania prime's civil defense force had been wrought low, @Albert Fish surveyed the assembled brigade. His eyes quickly skipped over the ramshackle collection mechanized vehicles. Tracks missing on a Chimera, a door insecurely closed on a Taurox, a Leman Russ bearing scars of poor welds holding panels from what appeared to be a storage crate.  Old vehicles driven by those much too young; red eyed with exhaustion, it had been many days since any had slept.

Signaling his approval the host wheezed into life with thick, acrid smoke belching from poorly secured exhausts.

"Thresanians, we march!"

In this months challenge we are all about vehicles, from humble carts, attack bikes, tanks, titans and more.

We'll go a little longer on this one and have the final entries by July 6 and voting to take place on July 7.

I'm going to be up front and honest and say this may be the catalyst to finish my <50% painted Space Wolf jet type thing. I don't care if having started it 4 years ago gets me disqualified, just don't do it until I'm finished.

I’m in, as the dust attests to it was base coated about 18 months ago. It’s going to be blessed by Nurgle so it will hide al the mistakes.

Time to crack on.

Made a start last night, so that’s the easy colouring in bit done - let’s see if it actually makes it past this point…

Are we counting titans as vehicles?  If so I might be able to fold my current titan project into this.  Might be slightly held up by being away from all my paints & stuff for a few weeks.

@Pelekophoros Next month get your overlords to sponsor us and send us all a knight to paint. Community outreach.

Ha! If only I could. That model is one I picked up off of a table when someone was disposing of entire armies they'd built up and never got anywhere with. It was in the same state on my shelves, so I figured Moose would put it to better use than me.
