Capcom are having their own event this year which will no doubt be worth a swatch given the rich vein of form they’ve been in these past few years.

I’m sure I’ll update this post with some sort of relevant link nearer the time, but for now PREDICTIONS:

Great Ace Attorney Collection

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Resident Evil 4 for Oculus VR

Street Fighter 6?

Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Code Veronica REmake?

Some sort of Megaman bizness?

Switch exclusive Resi? Outrage, was it? I wasn’t hip to that rumour until the other day.

What else?

(@gospvg, Please feel free to add this to your pinned E3 conferences thread. I wasn’t sure who / if / what we were doing as a forum for this year’s E3 chat, but I’m pretty excited about this one so thought I’d may as well make a thread.)

I would love to see Street Fighter 6 (on every platform) but I think it's likely still a touch too early. More likely we'll see a showcase of Rival Schools' Akira in Street Fighter V and whoever the final character is. Ideally they'd complement that with some upgrades that take advantage of the PS5 (or even PS4 Pro) but I doubt it.

Resident Evil 4 on Playdate.

Is that image in any way a promotional image for Capcom E3 2021, and if so; is that a T-Rex?

Dino Crisis Remake?!

Yes, it is indeed a T-Rex and there’s a Compsognathus at the bottom of the pic too!!!

I bloody hope this means a Dino Crisis remake or ‘anything’ !!!!!!

Nah man, afraid not. It’s the cover art from the excellent Capcom Design Works art book that I’ve got and cherish and adore, sorry.

And hopefully some news on the equally heavily rumoured PowerStone remaster.

I don't know about remastering the old rope. It would make more sense to make a develop a new one. PowerStone Ultimate or something. Add a few dumb modern era meme characters like 'the cat from Monster Hunter' and it would do good numbers on Switch.

Is the show time right for this in the thread title?  Says 4pm BST, but everywhere else I'm seeing 10.30pm? (the date was also wrong everywhere else too as it was saying 10.30 for last night) I definitely don't wanna miss this one! :)

Maybe they'll finally liberate the last of the Capcom Five by giving us a PN03 4K remaster, which will presumably end some sort of curse/unseal the gates of hell/something to do with a prophecy or whatever has been keeping them from capitalising* such an obviously unmissable game for two decades.

This is the best E3 schedule list I've seen.

Says 2230 for Capcom.

I'd say that Capcom have consistently been the best third-party developer for the last two or three years, so I'm looking forward to this. With Resi and Monster Hunter dealt with for now, I'll be interested to see what franchises they're going to be revisiting, and what new stuff they've got in store.

Pfft. You've got the DLC for Rise and Village to be shown and maybe the Switch Resi title as well.

True, but I'm hoping they'll pull out something new an unexpected for their "One more thing..." and it'll be a Dino Crisis remake in the RE Engine.
