Actually, I wonder if Gattuso suddenly becoming available is the real reason.

Or yes…

I know Gold isn’t much more than a Levy mouthpiece sometimes, but either way, what a farce.

Given current restrictions, I'd not be surprised if every game was televised. I don't think away fans will be allowed in next season.

My club have created a streaming service in the close season and mention the possibility of limited capacity on my season ticket letter.

Ah yes that's a good point. Could imagine them carrying it on even after the pandemic ends (if it ever does 🙃)

You see, the issue I have with that explanation is that it'd make Spurs (I mean ENIC) look really really unprofessional.  Then again, maybe that's exactly what ENIC are.

Young's going to get a few games but he's only making significant appearances in the case of injuries. But he's still a decent player, despite his age, so he's an upgrade on Taylor as back up left back, he's more talented than Trez, who's out long term, and he's obviously a good option if Jack gets injured again on the left.

Plus in the dressing room he's an old head that's been there and done that which can only help in a very young squad.

And of course there's still good memories of him in his first stint here, when we were bloody good and he was one of the best players in the league.

It's got disaster written all over it, hasn't it?  Has Gattuso done anything significant as manager? I can't remember anything. Sounds perfect for Spurs actually.

He did a decent job at Napoli, especially considering they’ve got a batshit chairman.  He won the Coppa Italia last year.

The Athletic reporting that Gattuso no longer under consideration, in part due to comments he has made in the past on the role of women in football, racism and same-sex marriage which have been shared on social media by Spurs fans.

is that the 4th option now down the drain, Poch, Conte, Fonseca, Gattuso

Rafa's agent must see the possibility for a nice bidding war now, or just the opportunity to get Everton up by leaking a story that he's Spurs' new no1 target.

I feel sorry for the Spurs fans but this is becoming increasingly amusing.

How can anyone they now employ have any authority in the dressing room, they’re about the 10th choice candidate? I wouldn’t touch that gig with a barge pole now, it’s almost a seat warming role. Unless you’re the type of manager who lives for the pay-offs. But that’s who they’re trying to replace….

Ranieri it is then.

They wanted Julian Nagelsmann initially, so we are up to at least 5th.
