Five Live are doing an impressive job of avoiding saying that Lampard has sent his team out to shithouse.  “Remember that he played under Jose Mourinho” was a particular highlight.

Whoever goes down, they'll go back up. There's a million reasons why. I don't get the hate for Everton. They're a fantastic club. If you want to hate a club, hate MK Dons.

Think it's mostly because the Tory charlatan currently managing Everton that the "hate" is directed towards

Ahhhh. He's also one of the best midfield players we've ever seen play in the Premier League. Other than that, he's a Tory. I forgot most football fans are Socialists.

:bye:

Pathetic.

Every single Liverpool player is a millionaire. Do you hate them too?

Do you even know Liverpool and its politics and history with Tory government? The crowd chant "fuck the Tories" all the time, especially when other fans bring out the poverty chants. You also don't have to be a socialist to hate the Tories. As for Frank Lampard, it's as simple as calling him a Tory because people see it as an insult 🤷‍♂️ and he's said himself he's a Tory.

As for the Everton hate, it's rivalry isn't it.

I don't even hate Lampard but am liking how much this has triggered you. It's like Rooney's baldness all over again. You sure get passionate about defending English footballers. Weird

Did you enjoy the game that you watched on your telly this afternoon?

🧐

Real fans are going to Lewes next weekend. Do you follow your women's team away from home?

Have you done Plymouth Argyle (we're massive everywhere we go by the way) away to Carlisle? I have. By coach.

No hate for Everton here, but them going down will be infinitely more interesting than Burnley.

The Norwich result still looks awful for Burnley. They should have daylight by now and I’ve got a feeling it’s gonna come back to haunt them.

I did, thank you very much for asking.

I love how you think saying this actually bothers any of us

Incidentally you actually don't know anyone's background or circumstances when you do this either, which just makes you look like a prat.

Because he’s a white English bald Tory. Also his pecker probably got hard for the first time in years watching Liverpool not score in the first half, but we scored and left it floppy before he could bring himself to climax. So give him a bloody break!!

It is a shame about Frank Lampard isn't it?

He sends out a team who need to be battling for their top-tier survival and he resorts to shithousery.

Time wasting and diving early on? How is that the fighting spirit Everton need.

It seemed he wasn't a great manager but this smacks of a total lack of imagination, intelligence, and forward thinking.

You have to feel for Everton fans, perhaps this might be the nail in Lampard's career that seems to be needed - his inability to learn is a liability to anyone who employs him.

0-0 mate.

Your highlight of years of following football is a draw so insignificant i can barely remember it? Didn't Lucas Leiva score against you in the replay? Think that's more of a shock than a 0-0 draw tbh.

I’ll write something about the Burnley game later but the Everton shithousing… there’s good ways and there’s bad ways. That was the bad way. That’s a team doing it out of fear. A team doing it because they’ve got nothing else. No plan but to pray they got the right side of a decision. Liverpool would have still won that if they had gone down to ten men because Everton didn’t have a threat.

Well done Frank, you knocked Liverpool out of their stride for the first half. What was the plan for the second?
