It looks like Mino Raiola has actually died this time.

It's very sad for someone to die at such a young age.  He got his players huge wages, so his players loved him, no doubt.  He seemed to think that was all that was important.  He also negotiated eye-wateringly huge slices of transfer fees for himself, aguably making the fans pay for his excessive fees, and agitated for moves for his players constantly, working to unsettle his own players.  He was an enemy of the fans, really.

Fun scenes over here in NI today. Newry City - so good they got knocked out of the cup twice this season - went into the final game of the league campaign with promotion effectively sewn up. Three points clear of Annagh United and a better goal difference to the tune of 13 goals. That sort of swing is a lot to ask of any side.

Well, the two matches ended up with a combined goal difference of 16, but it wasn't in Annagh's favour as they lost a stupendous 12-1 to Loughgall, making Newry's 6-1 win over Dergview moot. Back in the top flight after a few years absence thanks to the pandemic, here's hoping it's not straight back down again.

Even if Burnley don't take another point all season, Everton will now have to get at least five points from their remaining six games.  Considering their form, even that isn't exactly going to be easy.  The five minutes when Burnley scored those two goals is arguably the most sizemic five minutes of the season.

Chelsea couldn’t beat United so I wouldn’t be completely shocked if Everton get something from them tomorrow.

It's true. We played Chelsea and it was 0-0. We lost today 0-5 against MK Dons. But we beat Man City 6-3 once so it's likely to be 1-1.

Reckon Leeds are Everton’s only hope of staying up now (not that they were ever going to get anything tonight)

Think that works both ways. It's a 'who's less shit' competition between us until the end now that Burnley are the new Real Madrid.

Fair point. That wasn’t meant to be as dismissive of Leeds because I’d much rather you stayed up than Everton.

I guess the tontine gold is down to Jonathan Barnett and Jorge Mendes.

Everton are now winning after a gift from Chelsea who have been completely toothless upfront. They should be two up, Mykolenko has missed a great chance.

Chelsea have been absolutely shite.

They are coasting & since they have not yet nailed down a top 4 spot it hopefully comes back to bite them hard.
