Yeah, that's a real shame after they put up such an incredible fight.  They had no players at the start of the season, but if it hadn't been for the points deductions they would have been mid-table.

21 points was always too many...

Shame we couldn't pick up any away form at all, there's a half-decent chance of us ending the season TOP of the home table which is pretty ludicrous.

Don't have any negative feelings about the relegation, if we can start next season with a clean slate and no more points deductions I'll be very happy.

Would you keep Rooney if he wants it or start with someone who knows the division?

Quite the Easter for Reading’s Tom McIntyre.

Scores a 92nd minute winner at Sheffield United after the Blades equalise just before hand and then scored a 95th minute equaliser against the Jacks to make it 4-4 from 4-1 down today.

Keiffer Moore - did barely anything for us this season bar get Covid 10 times, then we sell him to Bournemouth and he gets injured straight away.

Quite the way to start his Bournemouth career tonight by scoring the 1st and 3rd goal to come back from 3-0 down in a crucial game and its very little comfort, but at least one player who played for Cardiff this season has scored against the Jacks (who have chucked away a 3 goal lead twice in 8 days).

If the Championship table started the day Steve Cooper took over then Forest would be a point clear with a game in hand.  Points deductions excluded they were bottom of the table (P8 W1 D1 L6) on his first day.

Bournemouth vs Forest next week is huge.

Bournemouth follower here. If Forest go up l’ll be pissed but they will have deserved it.  Bournemouth have had too many draws at the wrong time frankly.  With the money they’ve spent (relatively speaking) should have had automatic done a while back.  Besides which I can see Bournemouth coming straight back down.

Not only are Forest doing amazing (and as a Notts County follower I'm genuinely happy for them and want them to get promoted) but what the fuck are Luton doing up there?? I'm sure they were only in League 2 on Friday

Fulham going up in style, by currently thrashing Luton 6-0!

EDIT: 7-0!

I know I said similar a few weeks ago when we secured promotion but football is the absolute best and I am going to be so so very tired at work tomorrow.

I'm from Nottingham, am actually a County follower rather than Forest, but 90% of my football following family support Forest so want them to get promoted for them, especially the younger members who have never had them in the top flight

This is such a familiar feeling! (Forest fan)

Still fair play to Bournemouth, they were miles better than us second half. We've got a fantastic record in the playoffs so I'm sure that will be fine.

  • 2 weeks later...

Whatever happens, Forest need to try and make sign Davis, Zinkernagel, Spence and Garner permanently but that's gonna be a good chunk of cash.

Samba is so entertaining but you never know what's going to happen, must be an absolute nightmare to play with

Watford want Zinck back please! Admittedly the club have treated him like shit so I couldn't blame him if he said he wanted to leave, but even accounting for the league difference he's been miles better than most of our wingers/forwards this year. Why we loaned him out but then brought in the awful Kalu is a mystery.

As a Blues fan I can't see much happening the next few weeks with the speculation of us being sold (though I take it with a pinch of salt). Should it turn out we are not being sold it's going to be another window of loads of loans and a couple of freebies (and in this event I see us going down next season).

Bowyer has his hands tied at the moment and we have like one or two talented players on the books but we haven't got a full squad or any depth to the squad. I suspect we might see a couple of higher wage players move on (if anyone will have them).
