Why oh why does it take a few seconds to download the patch, then fucking forever to "copy" it? I dont like him. Some of the difficulty spikes are a bit odd but to be fair I came away thinking the game had taught me something about how it wanted me to drive. The last one (S-10) is tough but definitely achievable with a bit of patience. 2nd gear to drive out of La source and you can afford to tip toe through Eau Rouge. Honestly I crashed SO many times trying to keep up with the demonstration ghost there, but you don’t need to. Plenty of time is made round the lap by diligently following the dry line and using little bits of throttle input to keep up your speed and stability through corners. Until, that is, you get to Blanchimont where I coasted round the first apex ( no braking, ease off slowly) and then a tiny bit of throttle in 4th round the 2nd part of the corner to keep it stable. So I went back to the store and dropped 20K on some inters, because it’s wet, but might dry out, right? Then I go back to the event. It’s not raining anymore.
