Is the TT still on tomorrow all day or ending in the morning??

Good news on Road Atlanta - can’t wait for the TT on it in a GR3 on comfort hards…. Has it been in a GT before, I know ive raced it on console but im thinking that was Forza?

I think it ends at 8am Wed.

RA is certainly in Forza, not sure if it’s been in GT before. Great to have a new track, a bit of a shame it’s a track that’s in Forza when the world has hundreds of tracks!  Looking forward to it though!

@Junker has been saying for a while that the daily’s have decent quality, little to no lag, and some decent driving going on. This weeks Daily Race C is a fuel saving race at Watkins Glen in Gr.4, and is creating some nice racing.  Did a couple last night with decent results including a 2nd.  Did a pair tonight, after setting an ok qualifying time, starting around 10th, and working my way up to 3rd in both.
Not a sign of lag, still some idiots around, but I’ve had some lucky escapes so far :)

Ability to sell vehicles

With the latest 1.26 patch update installed (internet connection required), players would be able to sell cars within their personal garage once the GT Café Menus are completed.

Smashed the TT just now, I had a load of laps where I was .5 sec off the gold but had I put one together I was well under it - I hit my most normal place of try too hard, had some dinner and came down and within a couple of laps I had gone way faster than my prev best ‘potential’ time and 3/10 under the gold…. As ever going slower is faster

If I wasnt about to go see my sister and sort out an IT issue she is having there is easily another half a sec to be gained… hopefully a quick fix round hers then!!

They’ve mirrored the races with the World Tour events and you can use the special liveries like they use in them. I’ve been banging on about that for ages.

Also qualifying and grid options in lobbies. Amazing. Let’s hope it’s more stable in lobbies

Spoiler

It won’t be any more stable 😪

Just watched 10 mins of Rory streaming a Lobby race as I had lunch. Road Atlanta at night looks incredible.

Day/night works properly, weather works properly.
No one moaning about lag and I didn’t see any apart from one American dude. People from all over the globe. Can it be true?

yeah but i watched streamers testing lobbies weeks ago and it all seemed good and yet we still get awful lag some nights. I've got zero faith in them.

Central & South America is the answer for day 1 of the viewers campaign as Fraga won the race, have until 3:59pm tomorrow to enter.

I was a bit baffled by the tense of the question as when I read it, the race hadn’t been run, so I waited.

Pretty sure I predicted Fraga too, lots of credits!

Sold all my duplicates. Apart from the 51 Honda NSX rally cars. They only let you sell 1 of any car per day!

I knew they’d pay off!

Are those ones that you farmed when there was an exploit that time?

Yup.

I bought the 4.5million Porsche as it’s away tomorrow, and it’s the only car I needed for the collection menus. I got an engine ticket in return :(

I thought it see what the 4.5 million Hagerty collection Porsche is worth now that I own it. 2.67 million. That depreciation for you. You buy your mega price collectors Porsche and 73 seconds later it’s dropped almost 2mill. Thanks Hagerty and PD for this wonderful insight into collecting cars! 🤢

there's some easy credits to be made in the Anniversary Nations Cup events.

There's two races that give you 1 million credits each for a win. Willow Springs in the Escudo, 7 laps and Spa with rain in Gr3s.

They've also changed Daily Race A to be one of the Nations Cup finals which is Deep Forest Reverse in Gr3s and increased rewards which are still completely pathetic. I did two races and I do not like that track in reverse. It really doesn't work very well.

Todays question is A. Carrazza ( who was third in the Repechage race.

Was a really close race too, Big Willow in the Escudo

I watched the Americas and repechage races and both were decent - thought  Carrazza was a little lucky with the stewards….

The World Finals races over the past 2 days have been great.

They’ve got the coverage to a good level, just wish they’d put up a bit more fuel and tyres and lap time info so we can see strategies rather than relying on the bits we get from Jimmy and Tom.
I’m still fascinated by the fact it looks like the majority of racers use bumper cam ( including Fraga, Miyazono, Kawakami and Lopez) , but quite a few use roof cam. No-one I’ve ever seen in the finals uses Cockpit view but a  couple of the really quick guys use chase cam ( Beauvois and Gallo).

Also they are still using TGT-II wheels rather than Fanatec stuff. Anyone spotted what pedals they make them use?

I remember years ago people asking why pros didnt use cockpit in GT and console sims and apparently its all down to the FOV, there was a lot of hope you could adjust it in GT7 and then it would likely have been more popular. Its madness that some still use chase cam but you can’t argue against it when they are so fast!

The races have been good, the more recent ones seem to have had more questionable overtakes and bumps but its been great to watch - the way they made the Pikes peak Suzuki look like an on rails F1 car round that track was stunning!

This is shit imo.  There, I said it.

It's all so self congralutatory and up its own arse. It might be a good racer (and the cars are enjoyable to drive for the most part), but it's a shit game.  It's the stingiest fucking game ever, the "reward" roulette type tickets are a fucking joke, giving the minimum at all times.  Progression is locked behind a crap game of shitty fetch quests from a load of personality devoid avatars meaning you get a garage full of shit you don't want, but need to use in the crappy low level races you have to do before you can unlock anything decent.  And the rolling starts a also a fucking joke unless you OP your cars to catch up within the two laps they give you for most races within the first ten hours.

Meh, a wasted purchase.

I loved, loved, GT1 and 3, too....  I should have known as it was similarly po-faced in GT5.

Easy? I've tried the Spa race twice in the Beetle and only managed 6th.

Might be my AI setting?

And the car appraisal option in the used car dealer isn't showing for me, so I can't get rid of the shit I don't want for any return.

Fuck me...  <_<

You need to complete all 39 menus for that to appear I think.

I'm really enjoying the game tbh. Maybe cos I'm playing with a wheel now but all the races have been great fun, and I loved the license tests (wish there was more!). Went online multiplayer and I got slaughtered. I'm clearly not good enough to take on actual humans but I'm enjoying the single player enough to be having fun still.
