These should be available to claim now. As always - if you claim on the site, try and take a moment to verify that the games are claimed on the app. Also: Dragon Age: Inquisition is an Origin key, Rise of the Tomb Raider is an Epic Game Store key and Control is a GOG key, so they need to be redeemed on the respective apps/websites.

Amazon have been stepping up their offering the past few months

Since August we’ve had:

Battlefield V

Knockout City

Star Wars Squadrons

Alien Isolation

Ghost runner

Dragon Age Inquisition

Control

Rise of the Tomb Raider

In addition of course to the usual mix of obscure games you’ve never heard of and games that you paid Humble for two months ago in the Monthly choice bundle.

Seems like Amazon are taking on Epic at their own game.

IMO Epic has really dropped the ball recently. I can’t remember the last game the gave away that interested me… possibly Troy? I mean I know they’re free, and don’t have to offer anything, but still… I’m an entitled PC gamer 😉
Amazon though (yes I know we pay a subscription) is really upping their game!

Epic have been chucking out a lot of filler recently but in the last 5 months we’ve still had Control, Nioh, Saints Row 3 remaster, and A Plague Tale so hard to complain for free

The good thing about them starting to give away games that don't require me to Google WTF they are is that they are redeemed elsewhere and you can still keep them if you stop paying the Jeff Bezos tax.

Pretty sure you could always keep the games you got from twitch prime and the ones that download with the twitch client don't even have DRM.

It's fine :D Everyone's welcome to create a new thread, or add to a current thread, or whatever they like.

Maybe one day I'll get around to indexing a bunch of recent giveaways based on the contents of all of the other threads, and just using one thread - I know some people have expressed interest in some sort of historical list.

Does the new Google Sheets link in the OP work? I'm trying this as a means to address the above. Again, I was just following the format that was established by others, but if people want a single thread, I can do something like this:

Establish one thread (this one) as the thread

Leave anyone to post about new offers... but I'll still provide an update if I happen to find out first

Maintain a Google Sheets list by myself, using the info posted by whoever has discovered the latest news

I'll also try and refresh the OP content with the current month's update.

Cool?

Just a note to say that I have been periodically googling for news of the January games (that isn’t from some sketchy source) but there hasn’t been much to see yet. Hopefully we hear something today? If anyone finds out before me, please drop a post in here and I’ll update the OP, thread title and GoogleDoc. :)

Looking at that spreadsheet and interesting to note the comparison with Epic's attempt at breaking Valve's de facto monopoly. Amazon have given away a similar amount of games in the same timeframe and have also been doing it for longer, but have significantly less mindshare than Epic at this point in time as a place to play PC games.

From what I gather, they originally attempted to make Twitch a viable competitor storefront and then gave up and just used it as a front for the Prime masterplan.

I think Epic win in terms of quality of releases over the same timeframe as Amazon have relied primarily on also-ran games to bulk out their releases, while Epic have been willing to lose more money by securing higher profile games and more populist big budget games.
