As ever, use the desktop app to claim the other games, not the website. Or if you're going to claim on the website, open the app as well to confirm that they're in your library.

Do you mean I should install the Prime Gaming launcher, just in case claiming freebies on the website doesn't stick? Or is this a warning for games claimed via linked services like GOG?

Yes, use the launcher. I don't know if it's improved at all, but there was a period where claiming on the website wasn't reflected on the launcher for me. Maybe it has improved, but I just continue to use the launcher to remove any uncertainty.

The GOG/Epic/Origin giveaways are generally fine, because they're just a code you can use on those websites.

Yikes, cheers! I had no idea. Truthfully, they just go in my virtual pile of shame of something I effectively pay for so should claim. I'll put the launcher on, to be sure.

I've claimed every game in the last couple of years (and played precisely none of them, of course) and I never had an issue claiming them through the website.

It's only more recently with the Origin/other launcher games that I've been using my pc to claim them.

All the other providers they use to provide the games can be claimed via their respective websites, you don't need to install any dedicated software to claim any of the games (I assume the ones only usable via Amazon/Twitch are registered, but I'm not in a hurry to install some bloody bit of software which will insist on updating itself more times than necessary any time soon)

Anyone who hasn't already got it free from epic or elsewhere should give Surviving Mars a go. One of my favourite world building games of recent years, good music, fun scenarios and you're creating a future for humankind. What's not to like 🙂

Ooooooooooooooh Steamworld Quest. Nice.

I really enjoyed it, playing on stadia with an inconsistent connection. Glad more people will be able to enjoy it. I might even go back to it.

I'm sure I claimed it as a Humble freebie last year and didn't get around to it.

Also we're officially in the daft period for new game releases, which doesn't help.

Its been in a Humble monthly and also been a Humble and also an Epic freebie

I've still never played it

February's games are available to be claimed.

Surviving Mars is on the epic store and predictably Madden is on origin.

Thanks  I've been so wrapped up in Elden Ring that I'm slacking on responsibilities. :D

I tried FC4 when it was on PS+ (and before the Ubi abuse stuff emerged…) I don’t take much interest in Ubisoft sandbox games, but if you don’t mind slightly repetitive activities it’s a serviceable time-waster.

I’ll update the OP when we get confirmation from Prime Gaming (via their Twitter, or YouTube, etc.)

Long list of free games for Prime Day, I assume everywhere. Among the games is Mass Effect Legendary Ed.

Bump to remind people to keep an eye on Prime news, as the giveaways are supposed to begin today...

I have prime.

How do I redeem these? Can't play them right now but hoping I can play them on steam deck.

I've not seen anything for Smazon games for SD yet, hopefully soon

Edit: Actually there is a workaround: (note... read the comments, not the main post)
