Reminds me of one of your 90s ones.

That's the point. It's supposed to homage the 93 Bukta one, but that seems silly as that kit was a travesty too.

Thank god it's our last year with Umbro.

Always hated centralised club badges

I think it works on this year's Galway United kit.

The detailing isn't as noticeable in the actual jersey so it does look very good in the flesh.

Man City’s away is a madness (guessing it’s a nod to the Hacienda)

Obviously it goes beyond football as a part of the city's history but this is still kind of amusing since Peter Hook and Bernard Sumner both support Man Utd, as did Tony Wilson. Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert support Macclesfield. I'm sure there must've been a City fan involved somewhere though.

Not the first time they’ve had a nod to the club either. Best connection I can find with the club and the club is Rob Gretton, manager of Joy Division and New Order and a founding partner of the Hacienda, was a blue.

Maybe Everton will release a third kit celebrating the Cavern Club.

Marketing people don't give a shit about stuff like that.  They just want Hacienda = cool bit of Mancunian history ∴ branding!

True. This page has probably thought more about the kit than they did.

Having a PS5 as part of the sponsor was an odd choice.
