Why is there no game trial of GOW Ragnorak on the Premium service?

 

I thought Sony had made it a prerequisite of all developers to make a trial of new games available, and assumed that would be doubly so with Sony owned studios.

It's been up for six months, I think. 

 

The real problem I have is that people are having to manually trawl through the hundreds of games on PS+ every week just to find out which games are leaving. Sony have this information to hand and are just choosing to make it difficult. Cheeky fuckers removed the 'Last chance to Play' section and put  the subscription renewal options in its place.

Has it? I don’t remember exactly when the new tiers were introduced but I’ve had it since then, and it’s one I thought I would play shortly. These things need a year minimum IMO. 
 

That’s the problem with Sony’s service, at least with Game Pass games tend to stay around for longer and MS owned studios indefinitely. 
 

edit. You are right the new service has been running since June, where has this year gone?!

Shouldn't be problem. If there is a stacking limit, I don't know what it is; before the new tiers launched I saw people buying Plus up to 2030.

 

However, it looks like that Amazon link is actually just for £63 of Store credit, which you'd then use to purchase subscription time in the Black Friday sale that ends today. In other words it's just currency, not a dedicated subscription code. As such it's slightly cheaper to buy credit via ShopTo: you could purchase £65 of Store credit for £57.70.

So I’ve just signed in, to nab an “Extra” sub, as my old sub finishes at the end of the year. 
 

But it looks like it only wants to offer me the Black Friday offer for the remainder of my existing subscription, then they’ll charge me 80-odd quid in January. 
 

That seems rubbish - am I doing something wrong?

You will be fine - get on the live chat for refunds and they sorted mine out that day. Amazing how they take £100 out for auto renew when its £75 on their website like but there you go..

So this didn’t work the other day (last day of the offer). “Secure checkout” just kept hanging then timing out. Tried different browsers and computer and phone, nowt worked.

I upgraded to the Premium teir basically due to FOMO and to check it out, It's so shit that I actually want to downgrade it to the middle tier, as that's the good one with good value for money. 
Premium actively disrupts your library by offering streaming that completely confuses the fuck out of what you own and don't own.

PSN has such aggressively shit UI. It’s near impossible to buy a game that you have on PS+ for example (let’s say you want to buy a cheap game you have on sale for when your PS+ runs out), or buy a different version of a game (an on sale Gold version, for example).

Still no Ridge Racer for the classics collection, utter madness and I know its not Sony IP but its such an important part of the whole brand especially the launch of an unknown machine… 

 

Ive just cancelled my renewal, I imagine come Jan 23rd there will be deals for days for me to pick from…..

Premium is excellent for newcomers to PlayStation, that tier offers a ridiculous amount of content. I am not a newcomer, most of what Premium offers I already own or have no interest in. All I want/need is cloud saves and monthly games.

trying to figure out what games you have on any tier other than the basic one is designed to punish you for having the temerity to want to know whats in your library

 

it puts me completely off using my playstation
