Wordle 375 4/6

⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜

⬜🟩🟩🟩⬜

⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Spoiler

TOWEL

HAWKS (yes I know it wouldn't be this, but I couldn't think of much else that fit the unused letters and had W in the middle)

MAWKY (apparently it means "full of maggots", and is not, as I thought, a synonym for "mawkish")

(the word)

I completely screwed this one up by making hasty guesses without checking positions.

Is this really an English word lol. I mean, I know it because I'm quadrilingual or whatever, but never in a million years would I have thought that this is a word you all use. I only got it by trying out every remaining letter as the starting letter on my sixth attempt

Got todays by fluke/desperation. I only know it as a “name” of something. Similarly only got this by trying to make any word up until I found something.

anyways time for the Framed, the filmsaw, the quofee, the Heardle and the quordle next.

From what I can tell it’s a word Americans use, but we have a different one in the UK (piebald) to mean the same thing, so probably not too many complaints over there!

Add Noir or Grigot after it and you get two different types of wine.

Huh - all the right letters but not necessarily in the right order... not had that, yet.

Some truly dumb guesses early on that didn't use new locations for each letter.
