No evidence to back up your fantasies claims then. Quelle surprise.

Spot of projection from the person who was writing their own internal Mercedes team happenings fanfiction just the other week.

Should keep it to yourself m8.

Anyway. The Green Bull is looking good in these conditions. No doubt it'll be bright and sunny come race day, the weather taunting us with the prospect of a mixed up race.

Not that the FIA would let them start if it gets a bit damp.

The technical directives won't help Mercedes performance wise. I dont think they're designed to help any team but to prevent the drivers suffering any injuries. Both Ricciardo and Hamilton looked awful after last week's race and there's been talk about minor rapid concussions due to the drivers heads being shaked at regular intervals for over 90 minutes.

The FIA should absolutely be investigating that and acting in the best interests of the drivers just as football, rugby and other sports have recently all begun looking at concussion injuries.

Yea, the teams need to do whatever it takes to protect the drivers. If that means killing performance then so be it.

I wonder what they are looking at for next season. Perhaps a spec active suspension system which would allow for the bouncing to be tightly monitored and controlled.

Alpine's looking good in the wet.

Alonso hasn't managed to hook up a complete lap though, he's been hitting purple sectors on almost every lap, then presumably screwing up and ending up slow...

Oh, there he goes now.

It’s amazing how strong the front wings are this year.

The front-most part is a reinforced part isn't it, like, from the old dildo fronted cars a few years ago, which will help with these straight on hits.

Combined with the swept back nature and the much less complex 3 element wings they don't seem to split into a million bits too.

Well, until they strap the car to a JCB and yank the wing off anyway :D

They've fixed the clock as 9:06 now

It looks like the weight of the barrier ripped it off in the end. But as you say they are more reinforced this year so bumping into the barriers like Albon doesn’t break the front wing like it used to.
