I think if Max wins all the remaining races of the season, he'll not quite reach the previous best winning percentage over a single season. I want to say Ascari has the current record, by winning like six out of seven races or something.

That's seventy years ago though, when it wasn't really the same sport. In the modern era Schumacher probably has the greatest percentage of wins in a single season, and I imagine Max can beat that one.

No one will ever beat the career win % of Fangio, who won half of all F1 races he ever entered.

Someone on Reddit posted a breakdown in the week. I have a feeling Max can equal Schumacher’s second place on win percentage if he wins the last two races, but could be remembering wrong!

i hope those red bull kids get the shit kicked out of them

I can’t see my son wearing his red bull top any time soon.

lucky he has that AM V5 gear to fall back on.

you know, on Sunday he asked me

“why are you so hard(!) for Hamilton?”

“he’s the 2nd best driver of Grenadian descent”

”who’s no. 1 father?”

“me”

”when I get my licence you’ll be bumped down to no. 3”

“no, but you might edge out Pascal Wehrlein…”

The boy’s mother is of Mauritian descent… oh how we laughed!

It is absolutely hilarious. Trump levels of hypocrisy from Horner yet again. The difference is I don't think he's delusional. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Sadly the 'boycott' isn't lasting - we will have to listen to his shit again from the next race.

The first question they should ask Horner is "So, did you rob Lewis of the title or not then ?"

Red Bull didn’t rob anything. It was the FIA race director.

Which makes it all the more amusing they are acting like spoilt children who have been told off for the first ever time.

Abu Dhabi - they did the F1 thing (which all teams do) which is use whatever levers you have (lobbying) to the extreme. It was weakness & lack of leadership on the FIA's side that led to that result. Weak on the day and weak before in not stopping the teams pulling that shit earlier.

Totally different kettle of fish with the spendy spendy. That is all on them 100%. Rabid F1 Twitter can't make the distinction.

@myoozikk and @layten have already called it. No one at RBR gives a shit about Kravitz implying that Hamilton was robbed in 2021. Everyone knows that's what happened, it's ancient history. This is purely an excuse not to have to talk to the biggest multinational broadcaster when they've been caught overspending the cost cap.

I wish the BBC, Autosport, AMuS and everyone else had hammered them on that particular point instead of buying into the "oh no, someone said a mean thing" smokescreen.

Max is going to easily win the last two races of the season, the only interesting thing is how Sky and other broadcasters are going to approach it. Normally Sky would have an in depth interview with Max talking about the season, how he won the race and his first  championship in Abu Dhabi. But because everyone knows Hamilton was robbed and after his failed dive bomb on lap one he was nowhere until Masi intervened I’m expecting them to show barely anything of AD and concentrate on the rest of the season instead.

It's amazing just how little credit Renault got for those championships. Renault didn't make enough of it and shouty RB made sure the looked like they were the only stars.

I can appreciate a good bit of shithousery in sport but Horner and Helmut Marko do come across as whiney bellends pretty often

All we need now is for Redbull to threaten to pull out of F1 and FIA to tell them ‘off you fuck’ 🤣😂

Some complex they have but outside of Ferrari there arent (m)any teams that FIA need - certainly all the car / engine manufacturers will be ahead of RB and historically Williams…. So no, not needed and im sure Porsche would buy up the epic of the team for an entry!
