Brundle is from Kings Lynn too, well Gaston - its a poss bit on the outskirts of Kings Lynn, there is defi a commentators bet going on….

Pretty sure it’s Crofty trying to do a Murray Walker.  Murray would always say “and the man from Kings Lynn…”

The problem is, one of them is a leg end and the other is a bell end.

Happy for Merc, but I really can't stand the thought of Crofty mentioning King's Lynn every two fucking minutes for years to come, so hopefully Lewis keeps him quiet if/when Merc are hitting the top step regularly again.

Seriously, I really can't stand that man.

And I hope he does honestly and I hope the Mexicans boo Max in the future. I’m sorry this just irritates me, there’s a platform here and the world is seeing this. A world champion should be setting the standard not lowering us to Trump levels of pettiness and made up grievances 😡

There's been lots of talk about "Max's team" as a separate entity to Red Bull, which, yeah I know they have management etc but there does feel like there's been some finger pointing and knife twisting behind the scenes.

For the next week he’ll be asked about it in every interview till he loses his rag.

For next year it sets up some spice. Maybe Perez gets the feeling he could be edged out for Danny Ric if he does well in the sim. It could all go oh so very sour. Even more so if the aero penalties mean the car isn’t a winner.

Didn’t he say “you decide” or words to that effect. Surely all it confirms is that Monaco Perez is living rent free in Max (and probably Jos’) head?

Its going to be tiring watching the media go on and on about it, for all the fire from Checo and even Horner, we all know that small fires are extinguished by wet blankets.

Max was never making the corner at the speed he was going.

I mean Max is a bit of an arse but I’m not sure what your point is really. He clearly made T1 and was in full control of the car - is that what you’re talking about? After that, he should have backed out but that’s nothing to do with his speed was it?

He was going so fast that even after hitting Hamilton he didn’t stay on track so even if Hamilton had left him space there was no way for the two go around the corner together due to the trajectory and speed Max was going. Hamilton was always going to be forced off track.
