I really hope we don't get total nuclear war before finding out how much the reduced win tunnel time slows down Red Bull.

Don't forget they're already hampered by having a "relic from the cold war" as said wind tunnel

win tunnel

I like win tunnel.

It won't slow them down at all. The question is not will RB be slower, but have Merc' finally unlocked the potential in their car and be faster. Abu Dhabi might go some way to answering that question. Hopefully they'll be happier after AD than they were last year.

Hands up if you want to see F1 cars driving around a giant Moomin?

 My first thought was to find a Moomin picture to post but you beat me to it, I didn't like the Moomins and I don't like this endless list of new street races so it's fitting.

It will be Valencia standards of racing.

It's almost the last place on earth I'd like to see F1 have a race. God knows what cringe fest bollocks Liberty and F1 are cooking up to hype the whole thing up.

There's something almost poetic about having F1 cars race on a fake circuit past fake pirate ships and a fake Eiffel tower though, plus, PGR vibes...

Edit: yes, I know these were the worst circuits in PGR too ;)

and he haunts children's dreams to let them know, look at the monster. I don't know what it was, the animation style or lack of face but I just always felt eww watching it, give me Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors anytime.

Plus Jayce Vs Moomin is better than the tiresome Hamilton Vs Max.

You have to assume Danny Ric turned down a HASS drive and while I feel a little bit sorry for Mick that sad fact is that he isnt good enough, I know he has always taken a while to get in the grove of any single seater but he has had more time than some (without a famous name..) would get and he seems to lack that bit of ‘being an arsehole’ that you need to succeed at any level in F1.

Haas though are in a situation where they need someone steady who will bring the car home regularly and is likely to also get points, Grosjean can be fast on his day but he's also prone to making some stupid stupid mistakes, Mick has been expensive, Hulkenberg is a very safe option.

As a team we made some mistakes in Brazil. We had not envisaged the situation that unfolded on the last lap and we had not agreed a strategy for such a scenario before the race. Regretfully, Max was only informed at the final corner of the request to give up position without all the necessary information being relayed

Which Im fairly sure isn’t true because F1 broadcast the radio conversation before he overtook Perez saying that if he didn’t overtake the Ferraris he’d have to give the position back. EDIT: That was actually Perez’s radio.

Seems Danny wasn’t particularly interested in returning Haas phone calls which just cemented their concerns about him.

I said at the time they'd try the "oh we told him too late" card (regardless of evidence)
