Meh, I think this a terribly dull circuit devoid of any lfe or passion. Like most of the middle Eastern tracks, they're just soulless.

Bernie wanted it a few years ago but this is apparently so the drivers have something to remember their podium because the team usually keeps the trophy.

Not for 2nd and 3rd.

 

But yeah, medals is stupid when they already have trophies. 
Next the teams will want to keep the drivers medals because they look good next to the trophies..
