That trailer seems to some how explain it worse than the literal voice over during the intro to every single episode that the original had. 

 

And/ or the premise doesn't sound right, I don't remember Sam not knowing who he was or anything? Or at least they got over that bit quite quickly if he did. 

 

Seems a really weirdly missed opportunity. Although not that weird given some of the reboots and relaunches that have happened but the actual idea behind this show has a lot more meat on the bone than yet another police procedural like miami vice or macgyver for instance. 

 

Oh well, I wasn't expecting greatness anyway but this looks like it should have been released 10-15 years ago and it still wouldn't have been a good reboot back then.

Nah they got that part right. The entire original show was based around him not remembering who he was (swiss cheesed memory!) until he met his missus later on in the series, then forgot her in the next leap.

Odd (in terms of my memory 😛 ) Well either way it seemed to be explained worse somehow.

I used to love how hard the matte line was on some of al's blue screen effects back in the day or the noticeable frame cut/ edit when the door appeared sometimes.

They didn’t even use the theme tune.

Also, it's not that unusual for a show to have no intro in the first episode, so maybe it will next week.
