Yeah of course it sucks, but it’s a side to this acquisition that can’t be ignored and tbh leaves a bit of a sour taste.

Yeah and that sucks even more, I wanted to see his ass fired to the moon and made an example of, but in this scenario he walks away an even richer guy.

That price can't be real, surely?:blink::wacko: Just utter madness if so. So much wrong with an acquisition like this it's hard to know where to start. It shouldn't get past the monopoly commission for one. The worlds gone nuts since 2016, so here's another nut I guess!

 

Tell you one thing, as is so often the case Nintendo knows.. Thank fuck they've been quietly buying back their own stock.

I'm in bed with a kidney stone and watching YouTube as when I try and commit to a film I have to writhe around in excruciating agony every so often so miss the narrative thread.

 

Plus my YT is full of these at the moment and it's funny watching yanks get worked up over it

I know I could 'turn it off' but I figure they're going to capture it anyway, so all that would achieve would be preventing me from looking at it myself.

Everyone is looking through the back catalogue and IPs owned by Activision/Blizzard and foaming at the mouth at the prospects of these being resurrected by Microsoft when in all reality this deal probably just means just lots more CoD, Candy Crush and Overwatch. 

 

 

If Sony do struggle because of this Nintendo will just buy them. Nintendo Switchstation will sell billions. And with the profits they will buy Sega, Capcom, Bandai-Namco, Square Enix and Konami to create the ultimate Japanese Games company to take on Microsoft in a modern day Godzilla vs Kong battle.

Even if he was fired he owns a 4.5 million shares from his 15 or so years working there, almost 1% of the company, he'd have a golden parachute either way.

What's the loophole? I've never bothered with Gamepass previously as never feel have enough time to get most out of it

Yeah it’s just wishful (spiteful?) thinking on my part there. The quicker he goes and his regime with him the better.

The mobile phone market dwarves the console market, whereas I doubt they’d really care how many sales of COD they’ll lose on PS compared with how many people will be persuaded to buy an Xbox and/or Game Pass.
