The French Connection

The Rise and Fall of a Maverick Trilogy

Bit unfair to call Sorcerer Friedkin's fall. Yes, it didn't do well at the box office but the film is an undisputed masterpiece.  I'd say it was at least the equal of the previous two films he made.

Anyhow, The Unwittingly Captured a murder trilogy

The End of Vintage Arnie Trilogy

These all came out consecutively and I just knew age was catching up and he wouldn't be in legendary films again.

End of Days

The Sixth Day

Collateral Damage

I Really like End of Days though and have it in my Arnie collection.

The unexpected full female nudity trilogy (don't watch it with your mum) :

Woman in Red

Batchelor Party

Kramer vs Kramer

John Hughes nearly pulled together a gratuitous, maybe not great in hindsight nudity trilogy all by himself, but they yanked a Peeping Tom scene from The Breakfast Club.

Tobe Hooper was physically there at least.

In actuality, he was there to tell Spielberg he would absolutely not film this scene as written (by Spielberg):
