I’m finally playing this via Steam Deck and it is so fucking good. Did the utterly immense Monsoon boss fight last night which was like some slapstick Jackie Chan choreographed fight with all the ridiculous parrying and debris getting sliced in half, but with ninja cyborgs and an earbleed-inducing soundtrack of dubstep Japanese cheese metal in the rain and it was beautiful.

The MGS2 final boss was surely based on Dubya too, right?

The genetically engineered perfect soldier and strategic genius armed with dual katanas, zooming about in a power suit with two extra arms and jet boots? Yeah, 100%.

Tbh, when they were getting ready to announce dmc5 it felt like they were dickteasing us with lame 'hype' announcements like this for a long while, so I remain hopeful.
