The fudged scale with the tiny buildings and massive units doesn't work with a real time combat system. It just looks like the punch up in the model village at the end of Hot Fuzz.

If anything this looks like a medieval fantasy 13 Sentinels. Interesting, but the world itself presents itself as one of those overly serious imagined classic European conflict type of things and if anything I would want that type of story to be situated in Ivalice.


Apart from that it really feels like Square Enix want to tick off the "Fire Emblem for PS" box.
