I think this looks like a load of fun, and the cgi doesn’t look nearly as much of an issue as the last trailer.

It’s still a shame they never gave Ruffalo a stand alone movie and instead he got shafted with a piecemeal story that changed bits willy nilly. Would have been cool if they could have gone all in on a World War Hulk movie, that could have been pretty sweet.

I think there was a rights issue that stopped them doing a straight Hulk movie.

There is.  If they do a full blown hulk movie I think Universal get a lot of profit, hence no standalone movies.

@yakumo makes a great point mind.  Awesome Andy turning up would be amazing.

Clearly someone with good taste like me and appreciate the high brow sequential art form.

I have my own taste. You have your own taste. Sometimes those oversect. Sometimes they don't.

I love the high brow sequential art form. As you well know.

Yeah, only Universal can make a solo movie. Marvel can only use him as part of an ensemble.

I imagine Disney don't see that there is enough box office appeal to try and work out some kind of deal with Universal, like they did with Sony and Spider-Man.

With that said, do Universal have any appetite in doing anything with the character in isolation?

Oh was it Universal who did the first Hulk movie (the Ang Lee one)?

Yes. And the 2008 Edward Norton movie.

The latter is officially part of the MCU, despite having a different lead playing the title character. Various characters from the movie have popped up later in other MCU movies and shows, and there was a post credits sequence bolted on too.

Yeah, although didn't Marvel produce it and Universal distribute it (The Incredible Hulk)?

I hope they do a flashback to when the Hulk booted Tim Roth into a tree. It's up there with the mook getting punched into the quinjet engine for comedy superhero violence.

'ave it!

but... original footage, or re-done with current CGI hulk(s)?

This looks really fun! But they should have made her more hulky, for less uncanny valley stuff. But then I guess she wouldn't look "sexy" or something?

Oh, I guess hulk's arm has healed finally, I wondered if that would be permanent.
