Haha calm down mate. He’s still learning on the job. Not his fault Villa wanted to give him a go. It has the look of a badly run club and I can’t imagine you’ll get anyone in who’ll do much better.

Mitro has played him like a fiddle but that's always going to be a red. The sort of sending off you get when your arse has gone and you fancy dropping your team mates in it. I'm not even going to pretend to understand handball anymore though. I think the only way to solve it is to either get rid of it or give an indirect free kick for absolutely any contact. Whatever it is they're doing now doesn't work.

This is only a view based on this game alone but Villa have no leadership on the pitch, they lack any sort of quality going forward and they are very very lightweight.

 

Fulham have been very good and the red card (surprise surprise Mitrovic involved) and penalty decision (harsh) have helped but Villa have never looked like getting anything from this game.

Gerrard is absolutely hopeless. He had a new manager bounce for the first 6 games and they’ve been utterly dire since then. The squad is fairly good and they should be comfortably mid table. Any half competent manager would have them there.

The away end has well and truly gone.   We were well beaten tonight, I don’t want the red card or the penalty or the own goal to detract from that.

Villa are far and away the worst team we’ve had at the cottage this season. It played like a championship game last year. We played as well as I’ve seen us all season but that was mostly because we weren’t really playing against an opposition. 
 

It’s the only Villa game I’ve seen this season but Gerrard has to be gone.
