Our 'local' rival is Exeter City. I never want them relegated as it's more fun to play them in the league.

Thats fine but if Everton went down they would come back, its not like the Merseyside Derby would be gone forever, I just like the thought of their first game in a new stadium being against Barnsley or Millwall

Won’t be Barnsley as they are league one.  Unless you can see a double relegation.

I got it wrong anyway, their new stadium is for 24/25 apparently, their last ever game at Goodison being Rotherham on a Tuesday will do instead

Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear me.

I hope their last game there is against your shower of non-Scousers.

Do you not like Liverpool, baldy? They’re the most successful team in England, so I guess it’s a jealously thing.

That Ronaldo interview really does confirm his status as the games’ biggest weirdo. His ego has painted him into a corner where he there’s no viable exit and now he’s acting like some good will ambassador for Manchester United. Oooh, it’s terrible here, even Sir Alex agrees with me. He wouldn’t say it out loud to you but that’s definitely what he thinks. What else can I say people won’t like? Your best ever player is bald and he let himself go?

He really is sullying his legacy. People will remember this shit if he ends his career with it.

There was some weird stupid interview and someone on reddit said he reminds him of Patrick Bateman and that comparison and this thread still cracks me up https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/ep0i2i/as_cristiano_ronaldo_daily_routine_five_naps_eats/feg9c1v/

This is either going to mean Argentina/Messi win the World Cup with Portugal going out in the group stage

OR

Portugal win it or at least get to final 4 with Ronaldo getting the golden boot, but also being an absolute twat all tournament getting players sent off and spoiling the odd giant killing with last minute goals.

It would not surprise me if he decides to announce his retirement the moment Portugal get knocked out in the second round.

Also, it took less than six months to go from "I want to leave because I need Champions League football" to "They are trying to force me out".  The latter might be true, but Ronaldo has spent the first half of the season making sure he is fit enough to play in the World Cup, so *shrugs*.

Some of those make more sense when you see how it works with the rest of their visual identity. It’s not there, but the AC Milan one for instance will be used as a case study in design education for a long time I’d imagine. It’s incredible. The most difficult part of delivering something different is the public will immediately say the logo is shit (new) and therefore it was a disgrace someone spent money changing it. The London 2012 one was a good example. That all looked stunning in application but the logo was weird so I don’t like it.

The big problem with crests is they reproduced horribly in digital applications as they’re so fiddly and detailed. They’re all an improvement, bar the West Ham one which is horrendous.
