It'll pain me to take this old girl down to the bottom of the lower field with the shotgun but her time has come 😭

It looks like it's already spent some time at the bottom of the field ;)

Very nice, @PK!

I have to say, playing RDR2 with everything turned to ultra, even at 1440p, is absolutely stunning 🤩

Although it does keep going into windowed mode whenever I alt tab out of it and then I have to put it back to full-screen in the settings, which is annoying. I might have a fiddle with Steam's Big Picture mode later, as having to sign in each time I use the PC on the keyboard, then click about to select the desktop icon and load the game, etc., before going back to to the keyboard irritates me.

What 4090 is in there and how have they tackled the power cable management I'm curious!

I don't even have the sidepanel closed on mine atm... the massive cable is a bit too big and I don't want to bend it after hearing all the horror stories. I'm going to wait until those right angle adapters come out. It's the most unsatisfying part of it right now

Anyway I have one of these guys for blowing the dust out

Main thing is to keep the fans steady when blowing through them, as you can mess up the bearings otherwise.

Mine has been wedged against my glass panel since October 22! The small number of issues (around 50 when it was all blowing up) was because the cables were not plugged in right rather than any adaptor bending issues so you should be fine

You're probably right but I'm too scared to try it until those adaptors can be got 😱

I don't actually know if I'm honest. The 4090 was listed as "NVIDIA 4090 24GB (Not reference model)". It's a bugger to take a picture of while it's light and I'm too scared to open the side now because I nearly dropped the glass panel taking the plastic off! I'll take one for you later

The case is giant so the wire's not touching the glass

Impressive they did a good job. That looks like a gigabyte card maybe

Still there now, but I only game at 1440, I only have a 3600 CPU (so would really need to build a new system to really benefit) and I'm mainly playing stuff on emulators right now anyway.

And yet I still just put one in my basket...

I went for the Sunday option as I'm out all day tomorrow.  My Sunday evening is gonna be fun.

Now, to find that extra PSU 8pin power connector.  It could be anywhere in the house :D

Hoping that my 850W PSU is OK.  I've decided against a whole new PC build and have just ordered a 5800X3D.
