There's no rumour of that at our end. What kind of player is he for you? Midfielder yeah? I'd be surprised if we signed another midfielder now. Andy Cannon only came in from from Hull 3 weeks ago who was superb for Stockport on loan at the end of last season. Just waiting for him to get match fit.

He's basically Messi without the goals. The type of player that gets the entire crowd on their feet when he's running with the ball. He's the most talented player I've seen here for about 20 years.

A few well informed posters on our big forum have suggested it. The same posters who've been consistent with players coming in.

He's from the North West. Played for Bury. Turned down Ipswich when they were in the Championship to join us in League 2.

Ah the Mullin maneuver, tempting a higher level player who wants to return closer to home. But he sounds like he would take Elliot Lee's role's in the side, who has being doing brilliantly recently. Way too good for our league himself. So yeah, I'd be surprised if we are trying to bring in another high profile player in that position. If we need anyone to improve the squad, it would be a forward who can score goals, a striker to cover/rotate a bit with Mullin and Palmer.  And maybe a really top class keeper.

But then, if your in the know people are suggesting it....sure we'll have him!

Even he's not going to win the league for us though. Not with Notts County smashing their way towards 120 points we're not.

He's a number 10. Not a striker.

I hope it's bollocks as he's one of our best players.

Amazing 3-4 away win over Bristol Rovers the other day. Was following online and thought we were done and dusted when our 0-2 lead turned into 3-2 to Rovers with 5mins to go.

3-1 home win against MK Franchise. 7 points clear at the top. Devon is green 💚

My best mate's son made his league debut today and, the Argyle manager popped into the social club we go to after the game with his Dad. We offered to buy him a pint but he bought us one. What a lovely day.

Bah! Morgan Whittaker has been recalled by Swansea. Everyone seems unhappy about it, including the player himself and even their fans. He's really started purring for us recently.

I'm annoyed but that's the nature of loans I guess.

Just in time for the Ipswich game :)

We can live without him. We basically turned him into a number 10 as he's a winger for Swansea. We've got players to play a 10 this season. Our front players have shared the goals around this season.

We might well be signing him anyway as we've put a bid in.

David Wagner set to be new Norwich boss.

I guess he has some form for getting a fairly mid-table Championship side into the Premier League.

Darren Ferguson back as Peterborough manager for the fourth time!

Good grief.  Again?

We've signed Saxon Earley from Norwich (we also have Bali Mimba on loan from them).  Hopefully, a new manager won't come in super quick and end Bali's loan.  I would doubt that but you never know.

We've also signed this New Zealand International from the Aussie A League.

I guess it depends how rich @SeanR is. I'd rather support the team in that lower League.

Well... to make up for the fact that we've not been able to get to any other games this season, on account of our burgeoning hockey careers, we've... sponsored a player?

Harry Foster, as it happens, the player my son liked the look of. He wanted Foster printed on his away shirt, but the machine wasn't working on the day.

He's gone for the third-kit this time. A signed shirt is the reward for sponsorship.

Absolute nightmare of a transfer window so far for the Dons as Kyle Hudlin, Paris Maghoma and Ryley Towler have all been unexpectedly recalled by their parent clubs. Towler will be the biggest loss, our best defender already and a proper character. Maghoma was very good on the ball, maybe struggled a bit against proper League Two cloggers sometimes but still class. Hudlin was very tall...

That's the problem with loans, if they're crap it's your problem, if they're good they get taken away half way through the season. The team sheet is going to look very different this afternoon.

Our transfer window has been excellent. All done apart from one more apparently. Probably a defender.

Waine highlighted above. Saxon Earley from Norwich. Callum Wright from Blackpool. Jay Matete on loan from Sunderland.

We're top and are trying not to replicate last season where we were near automatic promotion but ran out of players in the final 10 games

Our board are backing our fantastic manager.

Away at Bolton today. It'll be tough but we're on a four game winning streak.

Good player Foster, shame he keeps being played as a form of wing back as he is much better at going forward and it tends to leave a massive gap at the back when he does get forward, as no one covers for him.

You got VERY lucky….

Hit the bar before we scored. We aren't lucky. Our goal difference would be +50 if we were lucky.

We are top for a reason. Ipswich can spunk cash all over the pitch but we're a team. We aren't a team of mercenary lower league players.

It's perfectly possible to have a side rammed full of lower league mercenaries, but also function as a team!

Plymouth are having a magnificent season, what would you estimate your wage bill is compared to Ipswich?

I'd say at least half or even a third.

A bit disappointing to see the 'big names' all up the top there. I enjoyed them languishing last season! Fair play to Argyle for bucking the trend 😉

Not much action in League Two due the the cold. Looks like my favourite player of the AFC era Ayoub Assall is off for big money, unusually to the Middle East. I hope it work out for him, he was really exciting to watch on the ball, great pressing and hilariously spikey when threatened considering he weighs about 7 stone.

Also Brentford have recalled another loan because why the fuck not. That probably stops our playoff push already.
