Nah, it's not really a bad investment, even if he sold it at a slight loss, he's still managed to get his 15 minutes and asked a question we all want to know the answer to.

No doubt though, he'll actually make some money out of it.

Amazing they haven’t made F-Zero 99 yet.

Last one left on the track wins.

That's a great idea, they don't even have to make it look anything special as it'd work just great with the SNES graphics

Shuntaro Furukawa's response: "It is realistically difficult to develop new titles and remakes, including sequels, for every Nintendo game that people request, but we are very grateful and appreciate the expectations our fans have for our games."

🤔

What happened to plain old "please understand" ?

We should all chip in to get to $80k and then simply pass the share around the forum so we each get a chance to ask them where the fuck [X] is.

Bagsy 1080.

Wave Race. Captain Rainbow. The full version of Wind Waker. New Sakurai game that isn't Kirby or SSB.

My first though is obviously what he could have spent that money on, all the good things that could be done with it. But he is asking for a new F-Zero so...

TBF though he has the shares now so he can just sell them to get the money back. They've also probably shot up in value since the rumours of a new F-Zero game. Genius.

If anyone can afford a financially unviable vanity project, it’s Nintendo. A new F-Zero game should have been greenlit based on nothing more than respect for the sheer audacity of the way the request was made.

I think the real reason is Miyamoto.

Did anyone see that video Eurogamer put up about Windwaker earlier this week? Gave Aonuma crap about pretty much everything and they even had to keep the art style secret from him for ages so he couldn’t wreck that.

Well it doesn't say he gave them crap about everything. The video said that he noted a two handed instrument control system was a bad idea so they changed it from a theramin to a wand. He also asked them to make the bosses easier, and given bosses are the worst part of every game ever created, I think he was right.

The other thing was the art style. Despite loving the art style, I think if they did make a 'realistic' Zelda like Miyamoto wanted, it would have sold better. I'm glad they ignored him on this point and stuck with Toon Link.
