Physical release only available from the SE store as far as I can tell with a free steel book if you preorder.

The Tarot Card set from the Japanese LE is also available for £43.99

I couldn't resist preordering this but I'm a bit dubious as it doesn't actually mention physical media anywhere. If I end up with a steelbook containing a download code I'll be a bit miffed!

Yeah that’s what I thought, I’m going to hang fire until it’s confirmed for definite that it’s on a cart.

Is Matsuno still involved? I know there's no writing to be done but I'd at least like him involved in some capacity

He was tweeting the hell out of it and going on about tweaking the script for voice actors so I think he’s involved in some capacity.

How accessible is this? I do like an SRPG, but find a lot of them just layer system over system and they become a confusing and convoluted mess unless you really focus on it entirely.

It’s like Final Fantasy Tactics, if you’ve played that. It can be complex but it’s easy enough to understand.

It's certainly less complicated than the Disgaeas

This is out today. Anyone picking it up? I'll be getting it on Switch, I think, at heart these games always feel like handheld titles.

It's had great reviews across the board and a lot of the changes and updates sound very sensible. I think this will undoubtedly be the definitive version of the game. The English dub sounds like a travesty but you can always turn that off.
