Another Level - Freak Me

Is this where Dane Bowers came from? The skeleton rap guy is so disgusting.

North and South - I'm a Man not a Boy

Are north and south a bros parody band? This sounds incredibly amateurish.

A1 - Everytime

Dreadful.

Let Loose - Crazy for You.

This sounds like go west crossed with wet wet wet. The chorus is good on this one.

Bros - Drop the Boy

Gugle roodum dum dum dehey

One True Voice - Sacred Trust

it sounds like they sampled their christmas presents when they were 3

What we have learned is that music production has not got worse over time.

Bell Biv Devoe - Poison

What happens when you’ve got no budget but you know a nerd who can do greenscreen chroma key tech, and you have a quiet moment at night to do some filming down the road with your mate’s gf. Also OUR MUSIC IS MENTALLY HIP HOP SMOOTHED OUT ON THE R&B TIP WITH A POP APPEAL TO IT.

Still a banger.

In what sense are Bell Biv DeVoe a ‘boy band’ though? I mean they were certainly once boys, but I’m sure that’s not it.

Well, "young attractive male vocalist band" - but I can see how they'd be borderline and maybe closer to R&B?

And yes it's totally a banger and I wanted an excuse to post some 90s nonsense. :D

World class special effects, dance moves put together 10 minutes before they shot, listing a load of girls that make them cum in their pants at night, this has all the hallmarks of a classic

The crème de la crème of 90s boy band brilliance, exploring the often neglected intersection between glistening sweaty torsos and I.T.

They just can’t fail and apparently they are looking for females but they also like to ‘swing’. The roller skates give off a whiff of Andrew Lloyd-Webber. All the ingredients are there and did I mention they just can’t fail.

The only "boy band" video you need.

More on topic, a genuine top tier boy band:

Isn't the thin lad in the Hot Chip one one of the guys in the city from Game of Thrones that tried to knick the dragons?

Hang on, are they dancing in cum surrounded by girls made of cum?

It's a weirdly timeless song - 1990,  it seems like it could have come out at anytime 1988-1998

One of the reasons for this is that most of the group were session musicians involved in the industry for decades, and lead singer was almost 50 when this came out!

Really good write up on this track here:

That's fascinating, man. Thanks for that.

I love that the singer formed a band called "The Four Kents".

This is a great read, thanks. I was at a funeral once where they played this as people were leaving the church, it still makes me misty eyed when I hear it.
