Comment and criticism can still be very hard to prove. And obviously in this case all they did was do a search for images to illustrate a topic and assume it would just be fine.

It’s also mad that the sort of YouTubers who fiercely promote how important it is that they are financially compensated for creating videos are also the sort of people who think photographers should not be paid for creating their own content.

Ugh. What a shower of bollocks this has become. The original situation was bad enough with the needless begging bowl scenario for something the people involved in were clearly in the wrong about. The following with this guy slapping together increasingly wince-inducing videos as fast as his drama-fuelled mouth froth can hurl them out is just as bad. This isn’t your Watergate exposé buddy, it’s just some minor kerfuffle caused by some idiots in a small corner of YouTube. One or two videos would have sufficed.

Although I don’t think the videos are any good and they do a poor job of explaining what’s happened, I still think trying to fuck over a photographer who just wants to be paid for his work, a mother shamelessly using her own kids to elicit financial donations and turning to a far right provocateur to start a campaign of targeted harassment is worse than making tedious videos. But I accept we have different moral compasses.

Looks like she appearing on a podcast, something called the RGB podcast? There was a trailer on the you tube channel. Had around 120 subscibers

 

It increased to 180 subs within an hour.

 

Then a few comments started saying "are you sure this is a good idea"? and "Are you mad" Comments started being deleted.

 

Video went private and then disappeared.

I think moral compasses is a tricky direction on this subject, as most rllmukers in support of these vids are turning a blind eye to the slurs within them - presumably so they can more neatly champion the side against that infamous shithound, TopHatGaming.

You shouldn't really excuse someone being abusive and sexist by saying it's just their style though. He could make all the points he makes just as effectively without using her gender to attack her.

Plenty of other places to be on the forum and you have the tools to hide it, people want to discuss what's happened (and still happening with LD deleting Tweets), SeanR's video links aren't pointless as DJ Slopes has been involved in all of this. Just because you've moved on doesn't mean everyone else has.

My main issues is that George has been dealt a bad hand in life, he's stated in a video because of his condition he was lonely and that it restricted his quality of life. He's clearly bitter and angry and his language is coarse but at the same time I do feel sorry for him. His youtube is his outlet to vent his stress and escape, I know it's not right and devalues his arguments when he's makes sexist remarks but the guy is far from the Quartering.
