Switch Lite oled.
New Mario Kart Tour tracks.
QOL accessories.
Splatoon 3 splatfest details.
Zelda BOTW2 delayed to 2025 to give people the best experience possible (depression).

I think BOTW2 will be delayed as well, maybe until 2024 though. We just haven’t seen enough of it yet in the build up to release for a Spring 2022 release.

Well, that's mainly because it's due in the first half of 2023. Nintendo don't usually start properly pushing stuff until much, much closer to release. Aside from pokeymens anyway.

Well, and BOTW, in which their entire 2016 E3 booth was devoted to it, loads of gameplay was shown, and a new trailer. I just can’t see it making that window, I’d love to be wrong, but I want them to also take the all time they need.

I'm honestly not joking about this, but I would like to see something like "F-Zero X: 99". A Death Race based last player standing battle. Just use the N64 game as the core. It would be amazing.

Though this would require Nintendo to employ decent netcode. Oh well.

Yeah, but they didn’t actually have anything else at the time. Not even a Switch.

True, but then they did announce the sequel way ahead of their normal announcements, so it just seems odd that they wouldn’t give some update on its progress if it’s still due early next year. I suppose we’ll find out soon enough, or maybe not.

Remember guys in the same way so many other companies were vocally cut off by this forum after sexual abuse revelations we'll be doing the same with Nintendo, right? We definitely won't be ignoring the topic about it and pretending nothing is happening because they made our favourite toys when we were six. Right?

You will still find threads for games made by all these companies, it’s not as if discussion just stopped. Oh yeah and the ‘Nintendo is for kids’ comment

Hopefully Splatoon 3 is clogging the information pipeline, because I'm slightly concerned that Bayonetta 3 is so close to release and we've heard absolutely nothing about the gameplay systems yet.

That's not really how you're meant to handle a series that historically releases to such huge critical acclaim, is it?

Sometimes it feels like Nintendo think they only have the one audience.

You'd better stop buying absolutely everything from Japan if you care at all about human rights, let alone sexual abuse.

It's always the same. Nintendo have a history of shitting out announcements and details close to release dates, other than BOTW2 at the minute they don't really do the Bethesda thing of announcing shit years away. Oh and Metroid Prime 4.... Er... Well, they're exceptions to the rule. Yeah.

People were saying the same thing about Splatoon 3 and it’s lack of info and now it’s all you read about. Bayonetta 3 isn’t out for the best part of 2 months so I doubt they’ll be making any noise for a few weeks and especially not until they get their next tentpole out of the way.

The spooky element of Bayonetta means they might want to put a Halloween push behind it, too so that wouldn’t happen until October.
