New Nintendo Direct. September 13th,2022

I’ve got my Wii out of storage at the moment because I’ve been backfilling some of the gaps in my collection (there are a lot more than I realised). I’m also having a Metroid moment - one of the games I recently bought is Other M, for example. 
 

Anyway, long story short - if Metroid Prime Trilogy remastered isn’t announced during this month’s supposed Direct, I’ll bite the bullet and finally start Prime 2, which I have shamefully never played despite loving the original.

I've stopped expecting anything from these so I might as well just throw down my wish list: 

 

A new Kid Icarus game

Metroid Prime remake (if not the entire trilogy, at least the first one)

A new F-Zero game

A new main Mario platformer (or even a sequel to either of the excisting 3D ones)

A new Mario RPG (or Paper Mario)

A new IP from Nintendo

But the Direct is only about Metroid Prime and Wind Waker. You won't get the others.

- Switch remake of Superman 64 with limited edition numbered titanium boxset

- The entire cast of Eastenders from 1990 to present day revealed as new characters for Smash Bros. with accompanying amiibo

- New F-Zero game to be released exclusively on TikTok

- Boards of Canada are dead

- Doug Bowser to close all food banks

"Apparently" it's an early morning Direct so probably be sometime tomorrow afternoon. Kinda wish it would be on after 5pm though.

why would it be an early morning direct, are Americans supposed to wake up in the middle of the night? either they're mid afternoon UK time so they're evening in Japan and morning in the US or they're late at night in the UK so they're morning in Japan and afternoon in the US.

just clocked you meant it's afternoon for us and early morning for the US, in that case it's probably aimed at Japan and I'd guess would be either 10pm or 11pm their time.

I’m near the end of Skyward Sword having played it through together with the kids who’ve loved it. Another Zelda remake/re-release would be perfect timing 🤞

Honestly if the Prime remake is a thing I will lose my shit, never mind Zelda. If it’s the entire Trilogy I’ll have a glass of whiskey.
