Bury?

There was this Guardian article that said considering Ryan Murphy was Netflix's big television producer acquisition they'd not given out review copies for this and hadn't bothered to advertise it. It's difficult to tell I guess how much they've promoted in the app though as we'll all get a different dashboard. I'll watch any old true crime toss though so when something actually good came along they were bound to feature it.

Oh right, I don't tend to consider any of that shit to be honest.  I just put Netflix on and go from there.

Oh I couldn’t care less either, I thought the review was terrible. I just thought it was interesting it was considered to be a high profile show they weren’t keen on pushing. This is head and shoulders above 99% of the tripe they churn out.

I finished it the other night, most of it was, imo, fairly standard for this sort of thing apart from the episode about Tony, that was utterly heart wrenching

Yeah that episode is absolutely the standout. One of the best single episodes of TV I’ve ever seen.

An absolutely heartbreaking episode. Also notably one of the ones not directed by Jennifer Lynch.

Watched the first two episodes. It's really good but really messed up. I think it gave me nightmares. I usually love stuff like this but it's quite hard to watch at times (was very angry with how the police dealt with the situation at the end of episode 2).

I'm assuming Jeffrey was autistic. I wonder if they ever knew that at the time as it would explain his obsessions with things if it's the case.

Finished this yesterday night and thought it was largely excellent. Great performance from Evan Peters.

My only slight niggle is that they sometimes seemed to try and push him as a sympathetic character which didn’t really feel right.
