Gotta say Argentina deserve it. They were the only team looking to win in extra time. 
couldn’t call it between them and Croatia . But I think the winner comes from the other side of the draw. Two best teams left in it play tomorrow night.

The better team won but they are by far the dirtiest team left in the tournament especially Messi who seemed to do four rolls everytime he was tackled. They weren't exacltly cutting a poor Dutch side to pieces when they were on top so beating Croatia will be tough for them

Yep, much like the commentators jizzing over Neymar earlier (who has also done nothing in the games he was available for), Messi was anonymous for 75 minutes of that game.

I think England, France and Portugal must be licking their lips at playing Argentina or Croatia in the final. Holland only got going with 10 minutes left and don't press like those 3 teams do.

I think the best two teams left in the tournament are France and Portugal, personally. At least now that Portugal have solved the Ronaldo problem by dropping him. Without Ronaldo, you suddenly realise that they have a lot of amazing players, such as Fernandes, Silva and Felix.

 

I can see the final being an Argentina Vs Portugal dive-fest.

This was bothering me towards the end of normal time, but why was everyone surprised that the Netherlands went long-ball towards the end? Van Gaal is their manager, and he used to revert to long-ball football a lot when he was Man Utd manager.
