What a performance by KSA. I thought they were going to bet battered after going a goal down and Argentina had so many correctly  disallowed goals but they were immense. Their keeper was fantastic as well, caught almost everything.

Brilliant game.  Packed stadium with a superb atmosphere.  A pre-tournament favorite beaten by a minnow’s  cracking goals.  The minnow’s keeper has a blinder.  Exactly what the tournament needed.  Delighted for Saudi and Qatar.

Argentina just completely lost the plot as soon as Saudi equalised.  After that, they just hadn't got a game plan.

 

Saudi's defending was outstanding - some brilliant challenges and I agree with the pundits on ITV - they weren't up for the physical battle.

Great game, big shock. Argentina came out for that second half like they had it in the bag, and by the time they realised they had a fight on their hands they couldn’t get themselves going from ‘walk in the park’ mode.

Maybe the Saudi's won't be able to put in that sort of performance again, but if they can get close to it then you'd fancy them to give Poland and Mexico a lot of problems while Argentina cant afford anymore slip-ups
