Roy Keane is right. Harry kane should walk out of the next game with a yellow card, who gives a fuck.

No way FIFA are gonna yellow card every single captain, every game.

Leadership is about taking action, not hiding like a coward.

This is what I said the very moment it was known that The FA had folded (on Monday).

Did anyone listen to Nedum Onuoha on Football Weekly?

An exceptional point he made about a this being federation led, but not all federations, and if this one is let through then what happens in the future.

I'm not condoning either way.

However calling Harry Kane a coward is pretty low, he may have been told not to wear it by the FA.

If your ultimate boss/organisation told you not to protest, would you? Or would you risk being locked out.

People are still people and I can't blame Kane here. You can bet he's doing what he's told. If you want to be angry at anyone, it should be the FA.

Then they should all refuse to play. Fuck them. My boss would never tell me I couldn't have an opinion and stand up for those being ridiculed.

And I don't get paid that much. Harry kane will be on £300k a week plus, if all of England and every country said we aren't playing, they couldn't even have a world cup.

They are seizing rainbow hats off people for fucks sake!

FFS, it's Clive o'clock.

What with Clive's infrequent but always tasteful and well-judged comments, paired with Dixon's infectious joie de vivre, we are in for an auditory treat, here!

Don't have anything against Lee Dixon aside from disappointment that he won't take a mallet to Clive's microphone.

To be fair to Spain, they have moved the ball well - and quickly - and are thoroughly deserving of their lead. They've already been more interesting to watch than during most of the 2008-18 period (though at least they provided the lols in 2018 by being knocked out in hilarious fashion.)

Well, that was dull despite the 7 goals. Gavin's finish was a peach though.

Costa Rica were abject. They offered nothing. I didn't see the Ecuador Qatar match, but I'm willing to bet Costa Rica were worse than Qatar. They might as well have been scarecrows.

Jonathan David's four efforts at goal are twice as many as the entire Belgium team has had.

The forward has an xG of 0.69 - only bettered by Alphonso Davies' 0.79, although Canada fans won't want reminding of why that is.

Both of Belgium's attempts have been by Michy Batshuayi, who currently has an xG of 0.1.

From the BBC feed 5 mins ago. This is why fuck that xG bollocks.

It is now 1-0 Belgium. Goal scored by Batshuayi.
