Is this at all comparable to Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward? I got it a while ago and while I concede it probably deserves a second chance, I found it a hugely uncomfortable listen and didn't make it past the halfway mark. My eyes were seriously narrowed and my forehead correspondingly wrinkled even by the end of track 1.

So the sudden cessation of the strings followed by the twangs and rustling of instruments afterwards were like heaven.

I'm going to get this. One of the band members from Turin Brakes selected a Kevin Shields track, from the soundtrack, to be played on Radio 2. I've never listened to 'Loveless', but I loved what I heard. Beautiful abstract ambient bliss
