If you buy the ring controller you can absolutely emulate Ring Fit Adventure on a steam deck.

Any Switch based periperal can be used with Yuzu.

Do you have links to back this up?

- RingFit is playable on Yuzu but with many issues, including no support for the tension sensor on the RingCon. Some have used workarounds like mapping it to the sticks, but to suggest you'll easily replicate the Switch experience by buying a RingCon is inaccurate at present, at least as far as I'm aware.

- Mario Kart Live Home Circuit is currently listed as incompatible with Yuzu as it crashes at boot. There is, again, as far as I can tell, no one that has this running on Steam Deck.

- Starlink: Battle for Atlas is listed as not starting and Yuzu does not support the ship construction peripheral anyway.

- Labo VR might work in some preposterous setup of hooking up a headset to the Steam Deck but honestly is it even worth it at that point? You'd still need all the cardboard peripherals for the JoyCon to get close to the intended experience.

Happy to be proven wrong as I'd quite like to have Home Circuit running on Yuzu, but I can't find anyone that's done it.

This talk of Switch emulation on the SD, I've only tried Mario Odyssey and it creaked, was significantly worse than on genuine Switch. Is there some secret to make it play well?

It's still being worked on game-by-game, but from memory Odyssey is quite bad for some reason.

Lots of other games are significantly better than on Switch.

Get both Ryujinx and Yuzu. They are both good but there are swings and roundabouts to both and one may do it better than the other per game.

I think Odyssey is the more complicated end of emulation though. They've only just got the 2D working solid and 3D is still a frontier. At least they're in a better state than on Android's Skyline where Mario still doesn't render correctly. I've not considered emulating Switch yet, mostly for it's current gen moral reasons, but also I don't think it's in a stable enough shape yet.

I own it already on the switch, but wanted to check it out on SD - think I used Yuzu. Was fairly impressed it ran at all, but you wouldn't want to play it.
