RLLMUK'S FAVOURITE ALBUMS OF 2022 - RESULTS!

Sorry about the slight delay posting the results - I was going to do it yesterday evening but ended up binge-watching Wolf Hall and finishing the port instead. Thank you all, again, to everyone who took time to think about and post their list for this year. I only had to deal with a couple of non-list posts, the biggest formatting problem was accidentally re-importing a list quoted in a post reminding another poster about correct formatting, and I can't quite believe it's the 18th time I've done this!

 

I've posted the whole list here - there were 265 albums voted for in all (265 last year, 290 the year before). If enough people want to query the results or look at the raw data, then I'll upload the spreadsheet.

 

I usually miss some near-duplicates or votes where someone got the artist and the title the wrong way round, so please feel free to point out any inconsistencies if it affects anything in the top 50.

 

Just for reference (I always look them up when I post the results), you can find results from previous years and decades by using the albumsoftheyear or albumsdecade tags.

As ever, thanks for taking the time to do this.  

 

Discovering new albums was a bit different for me this year as I ditched my Spotify account in favour of Tidal, but I also use Twitter lists and a few YouTube channels for news of releases.

 

Leftfield's TIWWD entered high on my personal chart at the last moment (it released at the start of December) but I'm still pretty happy with my personal list.
