Animal Crossing

There's some very funny dialogue in the game. Murphy told me he was going to set the hounds on me, then followed it up with "Oh, it's you. Jack. Never mind. I thought it was another one of those snake-oil salesmen. They never stop!".

When I first bought this game I was totally immersed in it. Its just so relaxing and I lost absolutetly hours of my life. The whole feng shui position of the furniture in your house to get extra points it ace.

The characters are just so fun you grow fond of them  . Nothing beats coming home from work and playing this. Especially at winter when its all snowy!

A good plan is to replace very single tree in your town with every kind of fruit tree. A year later and it remains to be completed.

It really is a truly magical game, played it every day for about 2 months then on and off for another 2 months and I haven't played it since. If I go back though all the animals will hate me so I'm scared.

And some of the stuff you can buy is class, and remember to collect those gyroids, I had a stash in my basement, about 40 of them. was like some crazy orchestra it was. brilliant.

Actually, I'm not sure that is a good plan. I think you need a variety of trees to get a perfect town. Not just fruit trees. I'm not completely sure about that though.

Thanks to this thread though, I decided to play Animal Crossing again today. I've not played it in months. But since today was Father's day, Tortimer game me a train model that I've been wanting for ages. It was also the fishing tournament, which I won with a 27 incher and as a prize I got a blue corner that I've been needing for a while to complete my boxing ring! So thanks for starting this thread sid.

I've been missing two fossils for a whole year! I always get the ammonite and the amber or whatever, the common ones whenever I send fossils off. I need two dinosaur parts.

Yobbo Ahoy, you can turn the Gyroids off.

This is a great game to get if you know any females remotely interested in games my (then) girlfriend played it way more than me. It was really quite compelling. Plus some of my old flatmates had their own town,

Note you can fit four players into a single town (memory card) so multiplay is possible with the one (free! included!) memory card that comes with the game. I was just pissed off when Nibbles moved out, because she's dope and I have her e-card.

I think non-fruit bearing trees produce more insects in the summer.

If anyone is looking at buying it, try www.gpstore.co.nz . Don't worry, it is (annoyingly for me) calabrated to northern hemisphere seasons.
