Robo_1
I've seen a video of it (over at gamers hell) and it looks like a basic run, gun and hide formulae, but fun. Having nearly finished EoN, I'm still up for a nice bit of third person blasting. So has anyone played it or seen a review of it. I'm prepared for some fairly negative feedback, but I'm curious none the less
Uncle Mike
I saw this advertised on telly the other day. It didn't look very good to me. However, I couldn't get this thought out of my head: "why would they make a running-and-shooting game out of a film with one of the most exciting car chase sequences for ages?" Developers = retards. emjay2kay
GameCentral review it today. I can save you the hassle of turning on the TV and tell you they thought it was very flawed. Gave it 4/10 in the end.
JPR
Gamestation on Ceefax gave it a 7 or 8, but that probbably says more about gamestation than the game.
robotattack
I give it two spanks out of five based on nothing but two screenshots I saw of it.

Kapowza
Film was fantastic, Game isn't. It's like playing a really early version of Kill.Switch before any of the controls/basic gameplay mechanics had been refined. Aiming is terribly calibrated to the stick, no matter what sensitivity you have it on, the camera is weird, even though it's really close to the player you still manage to lose him. Movment is slow and cumbersom. it's got awful voice acting aswell, near constant badly scripted quips and jokes, naturally from two random guys rather than Smith and the Laurence, the best of which are just tedious and the worst bordering on racism. Nastiest of all, you seem to get points for shooting a gun out of someone's hand, then killing them anyway, calls it an execution. Nice, in a game where you're meant to be a copper. decider
Seriously, buy Kill.Switch, it's the same game but better in every concievable way. Rent, not buy. Four hours.

Robo_1
Game is shit avoid like the plague Have you played it? If so what were it's main problems. I'm only looking for a nice bit of brainless blasting. Nothing more complex than that.
Nimmel
In the film they should have replaced Martin Laurence with Carlton from the Fresh Prince.

Yes its too repetitive, there is movie feel about the game the voiceovers are cack and as linear as they come Kill Switch is much better imo

Robo_1
Bugger Oh well, I'll probably rent it just to sate my own curiosity, but the rest of my cash will probably go on Deus Ex 2. It's with games like this I really miss Games 10 day return policy. I mentioned this policy to the staff at Game mania (the leading game chain in Belgium). They laughed in my face They genuinely refused to believe any games shop would have such a policy, and if you think Games trade in prices are naff, then these guys are the pit of hell. I can expect to get no more than £15 for brand new games. They then sell the second hand games on for close to double that. Still, there is one dedicated second hand/retro shop that more than makes up for this Oh yeah, Bad Boys 2, Bugger
Robo_1
In my quest for information on this game, I did uncover one of the most hilarious examples of fan boy ramblings ever: Nutters I genuinely can't tell if it's someone taking the piss, or a fan boy rant
