You could just create a profile for use only with the single player game to stop the corruption. It seems to only happen when going from sinlge player to multiplayer, Or the other way around. The profile is only to save your preferences and stuff anyway isn't it?It's linked to Live in anyway?

this game has a bug or two. did the first level single player - then went to multiplayer and my profile is corrupted. it recovered it but haven't gone back to single player to try it out yet.

Well it doesn`t erase you saved games as i thought it might of. Once you repair the save though you shouldn`t have the problem again.

i reckon the bug may be because i never set my xbox clock and so the saves are from 2001. when entering xbox live, maybe it can't handle those dates or something?

did everyone else who had this prob also have their clock not set correctly? no? oh, there goes that then.

Had the same corrupt file problem and my clock is set fine. This was after playing through the first level and then going to the multiplayer to have a look. When I went back to the single player everything was fine. Bit bizarre, but as it now works smoothly, nothing to worry about.

I sat down today and played Halo for an hour in default setting! Christ it was hard but now i'm slowly getting used to it... it's very frustrating though... it wouldn't have take that long to get all the settings from rainbow six on there.

I played RS3 online last night with the new stick set up, I found it difficult too.

Technically GoldenEye wasn't a twin stick game. What was the first twin stick fps? The first one I played was Quake 2 on the PS1. The only twin stick set up it had was the legacy one.

I didn't really like Splinter Cell (it seemed to be missing a key ingredient known as 'fun') so I'd pretty much dismissed this.

However, reading the previews and watching the videos of the multiplayer action has peaked my interest. It certainly looks original and has bags of potential.

The problem I have with Live games, though, is that unless you are obsessed with the game and play it loads, both on and off line, it only takes about two weeks for seemingly everyone in the world to be better at it than you.

I bet I'd be rubbish at it.

Piqued.
