Following on from the sell-out success of Warpworks & 20th Century Masters at Ether 2003, the London Sinfonietta once again meet the stars of electronica, with live appearances by Squarepusher and Jamie Lidell. Alongside pieces by Aphex Twin, Warp videos and specially commissioned visuals, the concert includes a rare performance of Antheil's 1924 modernist classic Ballet Mécanique accompanied by Fernand Léger's film.

George Antheil Ballet Mécanique (with film by Fernand Leger & Man Ray)

Steve Reich Violin Phase

Jamie Lidell solo set

I went to the Warpworks & 20th Century Masters at Ether last year, and enjoyed it a lot. Didn't really get me into abstract classical music though. I can't make this years performance, due to work. I'm am going to see Plaid (& Yimino) tomorrow though, which is also part of Ether

It would be interesting though, to hear the London Sinfonietta's arrangement of Polygon Window.

Ooooh got the new Squarepusher CD+3" CD from WarpMart today

Your right about 'Iambic 9 Poetry', playing right now and it's quite chilled for a squarepusher track. I also love 'Square Window' & 'Abacus 2' from the 3" CD.
