As in the shops?

Dont know.

Its in the usual places.

Incidently, when playing it at work, make sure you have your headphone securly inserted.

I've just realissed half teh call centre has been listening to the kinks, machine gun fire and charlie dying for the past 10 mins or so.

I was wondering why they were staring at me.

Yes.

Just minged it down the delta, in a huey, with ride of teh valkyres playing on the radio.

This game owns for just that reason.

It just feels slicker. not so buggy, quicker spawn times, better maps, more fun.

If you liked bf1942/dc you will love this, if you didnt you wont.

i thought the SP BF1942 was pants. but this is different you say?

I dunno.

But i don't play online as i've no internet connection. I'm forced to play single player and this game really works well.

The idea of taking over bases and gaining ground really seemed to work.

Theres enough FPS games that are linear, and BF1942 had the vehicles and opposition that UT2K3 didn't. All, its set in the real world.

And has nice physics. Always a bonus.

Charlie hit with everything they had. The four man recon platoon had just jumped out the Huey and were making for the treeline when all hell broke loose. I told chuck to lay down surpressing fire with his '60 while us three tossed some frags their way ... second later a a soaring heat nearly tore our skin away as one of our Phantoms decided to toast the trees with some napalm.

We moved on further into the jungle when the flames died down. Just another day on the farm...

It plays better than Desert Combat, a hell of a lot smoother and much more responsive. It can be slightly laggy at times but the new weapons and vehicles really add to the game. Not to mention the addition of music really makes it all worth while - Tour of Duty people :)

However, have you seen the Star Wars mod?????

www.galactic-conquest.net

Seriously check it out!!!!

its good, but not great... you need a good system to play this with decent settings. Its fairly buggy as well. IMO its not better than desert combat but singleplay is better than original BF singleplay.

Pah, no you don't . I was playing this puppy all last night on my work laptop, and its not exactly a gaming beast (Mobility Radeon 9000). It looks more optimised than 1942.

I was running at 800*600*32 with high models, detail and textures and i ran smooth as a babies arse most of the time.

Not sure what the internet play is like, will have to wait for my legit copy to turn up before I can comment on it.
