Aye. I've been uploading at around 30k/s for seemingly forever. Shame most people seem to be closing their connections as soon as they have it.

I just stopped at a share ratio of over 6, least I could do after getting the file in minutes with huge speeds earlier.

It says on mine there's no seeders and 10 peers, which is obviously just wrong.

Oh yeah, I watch the episode again before. I skipped the Morrorwind review first time, but going back there's a brilliant bit where his Mum shouts him and he goes "Muuuum! I'm doin' me game!". Reminds me of that magician from series 3 of the League of Gentleman; "Mum! I'm doing me video!". Class.

Oh and it's "ee-co" not "eye-co", you Scottish rebel.

I'll reiterate my view on the reviews... which is to agree with JPickford.

They're perfect. Style, delivery, bread-stroking and pacing are all spot on.

That's not to say the Hitler interview wasn't pretty damned funny as well. And the last LEGEND!11 slot.

And I can't believe all those complaining about accents. I mean, if you're american, that's one thing, but for a Brit it should be (and is) childsplay.

I'll start seeding again shortly...

EDIT: where can I get the torrent file again? It's not on lsbc.co.uk anymore... I need it to seed, don't I?

Games were well reviewed (well I agreed with them) but the whole program, overall gave a great sence of the forum community and what everyone is like!

Impressed....

Fantastic :)

Original and the humour was a perfect mix of adult and geek, I liked the ways the reveiws were laid out and the commentary on the games themselves was superb.

Considering I pay £4 a month for EDGE I would be more than happy to donate or pay per issue (make it optional via paypal or something?) if it would help sustain this.

Oh, and you have to come to the Bath rllmuk meet and base an edition around it!

OK....watched it today with a mate, before it came out I was really looking forawrd to it and when it did come out it seemed like biglime was making some sort of huge appology about it and that kinda disappointed me. But then I watched it...

The Shenmue Drinking Game: I've never even played the game, but that doesn't matter does it? I laughed to hard a little bit of wee came out :D

Castlevania review: Being an ignoramus I knew nothing about this game before watching the review, but I found the review highly informative and I found it refreshing to have an honest opinion on the game. "I wanna see whats in the middle of this room cos I think it might be the camera man" :D Also, "I See" edited bit was funny.

Legend: I didn't really find any of this hugely funny. There were a couple of bits that were vaguely funny but that was all. The voice got annoying quickly and IMO it wouldn't bother me if it didn't make the next episode. Obviously most people disagree, but hey.

Morrowind review: I didn't enjoy this at all, it was hard to make out what was being said and the guy didn't seem to make much of an effort to sound as though he acctually FELT what he was saying. "Erm...anyway...you've looked at it and I've said some flattering and unflattering things about it, probably not in equal balance" You have? That's what I thought when I got to that bit of the review. I didn't really felt like I learn much from that review, it didn't do a lot to make the game look or sound interesting. Sorry....

GForce Shop: I guess this wasn't meant to be serious, but it was too long and it wasn't really clear if it was mant to be funny or not. Bits of it were funny but they weren't made particularly clear and could have been considered excusable if you thought it was meant to be serious. I'd say it probably felt like you were relying on that guy for your humour, and he wasn't TRYING to be funny, though inadvertantly he was, but, a little bit of extra humour on behalf the on Consolvania guys would have made it more funny. The only bit where I laughed out loud in the section was the bit about Gamecube section. Oh, and the bit about OoT getting that guy through a hard time. Oh, and "Have a wank", that was cracking.

Siren Review: Part of me wants to say this was the highlight of the show for me. I started the review knowing nothing about the game and by the end they had totally sold it to me. I sat there thinking, "Oh My God, I must get this game", I was totally convinced. So in a way the dubbing at the end spoiled it for me. I can see how it could be funny, but perhaps I just didn't find it funny because I'd just been convinced of how great this game was and then I was told that it was gonna be a big pile of shite because I wouldn't be importing it. So, if I ignore that bit, it was the highlight of the show.

Wrestling: Yeh, unlike most other people, I enjoyed this. I'm not sure what else to say about it really. Personally I don't think it was too long. Er...thats it.

Hitler: Didn't find that even slightly funny. Sorry.

OverBlood: That went right over the top of my head. What was it about? Was it meant to be funny? :)

Bujingai: Really enjoyed this review. I knew nothing about the game and found the review excellent. Very informative etc. etc. As with other reviews etc. The second interview was the only thing that made the GForce interview worth watching in my opinion.

I think I've just about covered everything. So to finsih up, if it were up to me I would keep the long reviews and lose Hitler and Legend. But its not, so....

Part of me wants to give it an Edge 10, on the grounds that for a games show it was revolutionary, however, it wasn't perfect, so instead I give it 4 Gs.

Just in case I came accross too negative, I just wanna say well done guys on an excellent show. I shall be pimping it to everyone I know :D

Recieved this yesterday, and watched it last night, everything i wanted to say has already been said. But after all the effort these guys have put into this i thought it'd be unfair to not say how great i thought it was.

the ONLY part that i got slighlty bored with was 'hitler' but apart from that, fantastic

I especially enjoyed the review style, and general laid back feel.

Could the guys possibly take the audio from the reviews and put it online seperately as MP3s? Obviously you'd have to edit out references to what's happening onscreen, but you'd still get most of the goodness without people having to download huge files.

Just wanted to add, in contrast to a lot of people -- I loved the Morrowind review. I think it conveyed the game perfectly. The pace of the review was like the pace of the game (whether intentionally or not) and this worked to give you a great insight into the experience of playing it.

As usual, Rantin' James and JPickford take the words out of my mouth.

Are there any more forums where you guys could plant some info about the show?

It'd be appreciated.

After all, on gamesradar they're saying things like: "Gamepad is the current best tv games related show IMO followed by Gamer.tv"

Glad you're all enjoying it. Oh, and the Consolevania site is now at www.consolevania.com, which is easier to remember and scrawl on the side of your local phonebox in pig blood.

And your website has the divx download/torrent on it as well no? :(

Just wanted to say again that I really enjoyed it - the enthusiasm for both the show and gaming as a whole showed, and rose way above any shortcomings such a homemade/amateur production could ever face.

Its things like this that make me proud to be a fan of gaming, good luck for the future guys
