rllmuk
ffs, 100% on the last tiny amounts of information and it goes to a crawl its on 0.2kb/s now that's cause no-one's got 100% - or those that have aren't seeding it much anymore.
rllmuk
I'm uploading to Droo (likely to take 14 hours). I'm also seeding the torrent still. And now to bed. compress it first! madness!
Droo
Hello, Graham S is uploading to my space at the moment. BUT he's uploading one complete file which is more or less a bad idea. If anyone who has this file AND knows how to split it into rar's and add a PAR2 set of files to the end of it knows what they're at, perhaps that would make more sense? incase you download a 500 meg file and its corrupt somewhere down the line? Does anyone who has the CD / complete file know how to split a big file into rar's at least? If so: please PM me asap. because this can be left overnight! Danke! Graham S
compress it first! madness! If your bloody forum had worked all evening I would have had time to do that. For now its the big file or nothing from me, but maybe a lucky torrrenter fancies fannying about with DivX tongiht. Or do you mean I can just rar or zip it and save some space? Graham S
Right I've stopped the upload. If someone can tell me how to do the necessary in WinRAR in the next 5 mins I'll have another go.
rllmuk
if you have winrar right click on the file to split add to archive bottom left put in (in bytes) the size of volumes you want i'd do 50MB chunks - so 50,000,000 click ok. sorted.
DarhkFox
getting 5-6k/s on bit torrent now. Ill stick with it, hopefully by tommorrow it will be somewhat nearly done. edit.. oh it keeps jumping up to 10-15k/s at times too.

Graham S
It looks like WinRARs going to take a while and I'm going to be up at 6 with the baby and in the night too, so that's me done for tonight. I'll reed the thread again before going to work.

Droo
rightclick on file >> add to archive... Then the winrar window will pop up, under "volume" enter "20000000" (for 20mb volumes) Then it will split the file into 20 meg parts. then upload them. if you want to be really smart, download smartpar from http://www.quickpar.org.uk/index.htm and use that on the volumes. hey presto a super safe compressed number of files. Then upload them all.
Lazychu
Why are most of the connections snubbing me? Bah.I'll leave it on over night and it should inch up a few more %.

Droo
Lol. Well, on your head be it when either his computer messes up the upload, or your computer messes up the download and either one has to start over. I bet you use kazaa.

Pow
I'm getting 74k and a green light, should finish in 18 minutes edit: another torrent finished, jumped to around 115k almost instantly after that, I'll keep seeding it (natch) edit: seeding at 20k for the time being, ight have to lower it later if I want to browse stuff. Good stuff so far, 'some cunt playing shenmue' made me laugh a lot, Castlevania review was spot on.
Yod@
I've only got 20% of it so far, but I'll leave the torrent downloading. If nobody else has already done it by the time I've got it, I'll RAR it and upload it somewhere.
Droo
Done and done, Yoda will do it in the morning, expect it downloadable from the internet by tommorrow night. many thanks. D

Flint Paper
Thought it was mostly excellent, though the games shop interview did nothing for me. Thanks for seeding the file, Dukesy.
Sng
Not enough quotes from me I'm afraid. I think I just wasn't keen on the reviews cos none of the games (so far) have interested me.
taiAtari
Getting some nice speeds of the torrent right now, fluctuating from 350 to 450 KB/s.
___
Holy fuck, that was utterly excellent! I must have a thing for watching Scottish people talk about things I love. [insert words of the kind which people who were good at giving positive feedback would write, while I just grin madly in appreciation instead] (PS: Adding my 30kb/s to the torrent again)
decider
I just did a low quality DivX conversion through Dr.DivX - the resulting file is 169mb at 320x240 and perfectly watchable. The conversion took about half an hour.
RJames
Very HARDCORE targetted, and the games shop thing wasn't very funny and was quite dull. Interviewing embarassingly boring people isn't funny, IMO. The reviews are LONG, and that's good, but I can't help feel that the show is too long too. Not that this matters in a pilot. Of course you can only have 45 mins of content in an hour long show on a commercial station anyway... Generally very good though. Most impressed. Well scripted and funny. 'Vids' about Games, basically. -J
Alex W.
Could someone try dividing the show up into segments and making them available seperately, particularly on Torrent?
